We have all sorts of Electrical supplies for electricians and those of you who do repairs at home. Sometimes the thing you want isn’t easy to find, but we are always happy to direct you. Always a chuckle when a customer asks where the electrical section is though: There are electrical socket screws, shrink wrap and crocodile clips in the “plough store” at the front of the shop, electrical insulation tape, as I’m sure you will have spotted, displayed on the corner of our office. Testing screwdrivers, plugs and fuses in the main shop, pattresses, face plates and switches upstairs and twin & earth cable, flex and earth sleeve in the “cement” store.

We try to listen to what our customers need and buy according to the trends. We have a few electrical suppliers so we’re confident that our prices are up to date. We can’t give any advice but we have some electricians on our wall of tradespeople.

We are open Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm and on Saturdays from 9am – midday. We close on bank holidays and for the whole week between Christmas and New Year but Janet answers the phone if there are any emergency phone calls.
