Clover Compost has changed it’s packaging, but it’s still the same great quality that our customers come back for time and again.

Be assured that the Clover Compost in the new, darker packaging, is the same quality that we all know and love. It is exactly the same as has always been supplied in the yellow bags. And, it’s the same price! Usually, when a company rebrands, there is inevitably a price hike. We are pleased to report that the compost is still available for the three bags for £21 deal in 2026.

Clover use the finest natural ingredients to create growing media that brings out the very best in farms, nurseries, gardens and greenhouses across the UK. They keep standards high and environmental impact low.

This is a consistent, high quality compost with a nutrient enriched formula and wetting agent to ensure easier watering. Used for seed sowing. potting, containers and hanging baskets.

If you are coming to us for the compost, don’t forget that we have a gardening department upstairs. We have tools for all levels of gardener. Pop in and ask for a guided tour if you don’t know where you are going. Having been here for over a hundred years, the shop has a “unique feel”, shall we say. Many people liken us to The Tardis.
