What sort? We have a great selection….
Self-tapping screws
Self tapping screws have a wide range of tip and thread patterns which are for hard or soft substrates, but are typically used to secure wood, plastic, metal and brick together.
Coach screws
Coach screws are a large screw with a hexagon head, for use in timberwork. We keep these in bright zinc from 6mm to 12mm gauge and from 40mm to 200mm long.
Timber screws
Timber screws are usually longer than your average wood screw with a hexagonal head and often used for keeping old sleepers in place when making flower beds.
These are Decking screws mostly for fixing down a platform. They are corrosion resistant with slash tips to negate the need for pre-drilling holes.
Machine screws
Machine screws that are not pointed, but used with nuts and available from 5mm to 10mm in gauge and between 12mm and 60mm long.
Self-drilling Screws
Also commonly called Tek screws, with self cutting tips for wood and steel come with or without rubber backed washers. Usually 5.5mm in gauge and available between 25mm and 70mm from Bonnett’s.
Electric socket screws
These screws have a smaller thread size of 3.5mm and are only really for keeping electrical face plates attached to the back boxes.
