Building cement and aggregates

We have a good stock of Building cement and aggregates.  Our general purpose 25kg Breedon cement is in plastic bags.  It’s handy if you have a few bags and need to keep them outside but it also helps an opened bag last longer if you roll the top back up and stick it closed!

Postfix

We stock 20kg Postfix which is quick drying concrete for setting all types of posts.  Just dig your hole, place your post, add Postfix and water, give it a little mix and leave to set in less than twenty minutes!

Sand

We have bags of soft and sharp sand, bags of ballast and 10mm pea shingle.  The soft sand is more pliable and will grab slabs better, sharp sand gives a more solid bed.  Soft is best for render and mortar, sharp is best for concreting.  Ballast is a mix of sharp sand and aggregate to make a stronger mix of concrete.  Pea shingle is more for decorative use for finishing borders or edges.
